Where do i Start?

I remember the first Stampin' Up! class I went to. I had been scrapbooking for many years. But this stamping thing was a totally freeing, scary thing I had done in years! I starting using stamps in my scrapbook pages, but I still didn't get into card making. Put that tiny piece of paper in front of me and...nope...I got nothing! You could hear the crickets in my head! So how did I get to where I am now? Refusing to give up helped. I turned to a site called Page Maps. They have templates for scrapbook pages as well as cards. Some, honestly, were too complex. But I love that they shared samples made with the maps. Stampin' Up! has embraced card maps in their last couple of catalogs. And I love them! so we start there. They can be found on Page 22 in our current catalog. In the following few pages and scattered around the catalog, they have given us samples.

It would be silly of me to not use these to teach my new people to make cards. "Welcome to the dark side", said in my best Darth Vader voice! So I have picked 2 of what seems to be the simplest of the 22. If you follow me on FaceBook, I have a challenge there to make a card from these. Make a card using either of the 2 templates. Upload a picture of it to the post there by Saturday March 1, 6 p.m. CST. The challenge? Each card posted will get your name into a chance to win a selection of 6"x6" DSP.
