Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper Card

Welcome Dreamers and Friends to the Klubhouse. I have been busy creating with new products from our NEW Annual Catalog! It is full of fun stuff!  I have again gathered with my fellow demonstrators from around the globe in The Crafty Collaborations group to bring you a Technique Tuesday Blog Hop.

Our theme is to use  Designer Series Paper (DSP). I made my card using DSP as my focal point. I only  purchased the Fresh As a Daisy paper in my pre-order. Watching my finances, since I am just a bit more than a hobby demonstrator! The stamp set can wait!
I wanted to use the sweet Bubble Bath cardstock and it picked up color from the floral disc of the daisy. I tried it with the new Moody Mauve cardstock and it became too moody!

I used Basic White Cardstock as my base, cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded at 4-1/4".
Cut Bubble Bath Cardstock 4-1/8" x 5-3/8". Adhere to base.
Cut DSP 3-7/8" x 5-1//8".
Wrap 10" of Linen Thread around DSP two times and tie in a bow close to right edge, as shown.
Stamp sentiment with Momento Ink. Die cut with Stylish Shapes circle die, keeping words closer to one edge. Use next larger circle die to cut a piece of vellum. Adhere vellum over Linen Thread in center. Pop up sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals and center on vellum.
I fussy cut the flower from DSP and popped it on the edge of the sentiment.  Scattered some bling & it was done!
I hope you enjoyed my card and remember to use your DSP as the focal point of your next project!  I know you have TONS of it!  Now let's hop  over to the next blog.

I'm Dreamin' of more stamping time....you keep Dreamin' too!
