It's Black & White....Thanks

 

Welcome Dreamers to another Blog Hop!  Someone asked me why do so many hops? Mainly because I work better with a challenge. Seriously! Must be an ADHD thing! It helps my creativity, because I don't have to come up with subjects on my own.  This Saturday Challenge comes from my friend Jo Blackman. She has such a great stamping style. Be sure to look her up and follow her page.  

   The challenge is a colour  challenge...Black & White with a pop of color!  Awesome! I have chosen to use  the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Card & Envelopes AND the Card Pack. These are found in the new January to April Mini Catalog and are only $10 each. The Card & Envelope set comes with 20 card bases and envelopes! For $10?  Yep, that is it!  I buy the sets each catalog. 

    The card bases have a watercolor look to them and coordinate with the colors Mango Melody, Petal Pink, Basic Black, Mint Macaron and Balmy blue. I chose the Mango/Pink card for the background of this card. (mu Pop of Colour) 

   After folding and burnishing the card base, I glued the "Thank You" card from the pack to the base. The card was already pre-cut to the size of the base so I didn't even need my  trimmer!  I glued another thank you card inside. 

   The smaller Memories & More cards are 3" x 4", so I cut 1/8" from the top and bottom. This gave me a nice border on top a\& bottom. It felt right...not so crowded. Then I gathered different "Thank You" stamps from my collection. The top one was from the Something Fancy set and the other 3 are from the Cup of Tea set! The bottom one is "thank you for your friendship" stamp. I masked off the words I didn't want before inking it up!

  Each Memories & More pack comes with 4 sheets of stickers, which is where the thank you in the conversation bottom came from. I popped it up to make it stand out from the rest.

   I still think I need a little bit of bling somehow, but I love the simplicity of it! I hope you enjoyed my card and come back to visit my page to see what else I am up to!
