Island Vibes Sale-a-Bration Set

 

    Welcome Dreamers!   I am in another blog hop today with my friends at Crafty Collaborations. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who create projects with a certain theme and share it with you all in a Blog Hop. It is a great way to support each others with new ideas. I wasn't real impressed with this stamp set at first sight. I'm not gonna lie. So to Pinterest  I went. and found some, not a lot of inspiration. And this is where it led me.  

My base is with Pacific Point Cardstock. cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".  I crisply scored the base with my bone folder. I chose this color because I felt it coordinated really well with "frilly" leaf in this DSP.

Artfully Composed DSP gave me several pages to pick from. I cut the main piece 2 1/5"x5".and a coordinating piece at 1 1/4"x 5". I wrapped some baker's twine around the smaller piece and attached to the back with Tear & Tape. I glued both to the card front.

Stamp the pineapple to a scrap of Basic White with Bumblebee Stampin'' Pad.  Then take a piece of Post It Note and cover the pineapple leaving the leaves uncovered. I re-inked my stamp with Mint Macron and stamped again in the same spot. This was a breeze using my Stamparatus!

I die-cut the piece with a Stitched Rectangle die. I popped it up with Mini Dimensionals, because everyone needs some texture!

I had to do the inside, so i stamped just the leaves 3 times across the bottom. I left the sentiment off, because I have no idea how I wish to use it.
