Happy Monday!  Here with a Simple Sunday card!  I may have to rethink Sundays, as this weekend everyone had plans for me. No complaining, because I am so tired of seeing just hubby and dogs. My brother-in-law brought his oldest daughter (3) to swim in our pool. So I called my daughter who brought my little grands up to swim also!  My middle son invited us to dinner to be guinea pigs on his first smoked brisket. Which makes me laugh, because he is a trained chef and had never made brisket before!!!  It was fabulous.
And then we remembered that we had started carrots to boil for the dogs. No, I didn't                                      turn them off...did you? This is what carrots look like after boiling for 5 1/2 hours!                                   Oops!   So it wasn't a Simple Sunday at my house! but I wouldn't have it any other  way.
Yum?
If you go to my Facebook to watch my sideways live (can't figure out how for it not to be that way?) you will see that yesterday's card was made with  Christmas Gleaming stamp set and Brightly Gleaming Specialty paper. They were in last years Fall Mini Catalog and how made a happy appearance again this year. I CASED (Copy And Share Everything from Mae Collins. It was a simple card, but not plain. Which is what a quiet Sunday is about...right?

Our base for this one is Very Vanilla cut at 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4". Use your Bone Folder to get a nice crisp edge. The DSP with the copper embossed star is cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and adhered to base front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a strip of Very Vanilla 2" x 5". One end I punched with the Triple Banner punch. Then I cut this piece to fit on my card where I wanted. Mine is a bit longer, at about an inch shorter than the DSP.  To the top of the banner I stamped with Night Of Navy the flourish that is in this stamp set.  After stamping 1 each of the 2 larger ornaments I punched them out with the Gleaming Ornament Punch. (it comes in the Bundle with 2 punches. This large one and a smaller one!)
I glued the two die-cuts down. One with Multipurpose and the top one with some dimensionals. The Sentiment also is included in this stamp set (9 stamps in all). I also popped it up on mini dimensionals.

And there it is, simple and pretty. I apologized for not having a recipe of all the products used today. But on Wednesday, August 4, our entire website and shopping experience is getting a much need update! So my codes would be totally wrong.  I hope you drop by my website tomorrow and check out all the new features.  I will have more on that tonight.
Our Mini Catalog goes Live tomorrow about 8 a.m. It is beautiful and maybe the best one yet.My pocketbook will be screaming! There are 50 stamp sets! 27 Die Sets and 7 punches!  Get a JOB cause you are going to want sooo many of these!  This week I am going to have a giveaway, feature some card kits that are from the new catalog, I am planning a social distancing stamp camp using new products and want to share information about a product share. Whew!  I am tired already!  If you need a catalog (I hate shopping from online) drop me a line at  dreamersklub@gmail.com and I will make arrangements to  get one to you.

So I am Dreamin' about a great catalog kickoff...You keep Dreamin' too!

So glad the carrots didn't cause anymore grief than having to clean that pan! I love this card and the ornaments. You always make beautiful ornament cards.
